The Glock 30 is a tried and true .45 caliber subcompact that instills confidence in the person who carries it.

This confidence is the result of the accuracy, reliability, and durability – three words a concealed carrier should always want on his side.

The model 30 is bigger than the majority of Glock’s subcompact offerings, but this is because the gun is chewing up .45 auto rounds. At 1.27 inches wide, 4.8 inches tall, and 6.88 inches long, it is beefy, but that all contributes to accuracy by helping the gun handle the recoil of the round it shoots. Target acquisition for a second shot is no problem.

The Glock 30 is a bit larger than the Glock 26 (9mm) or the Model 27 (.40 caliber), but nearly identical to the Model 29 (10 mm). The Model 30 weighs just over 26 ounces–roughly three ounces more than the Glock 19–yetthe Glock 30 remains a true subcompact.

There is a word for what Glock gives you with the Model 30–controlabillity. It is a subcompact gun with the size and strength to handle round after round of .45 while making recoil more than simply manageable.

Besides the gun itself, the great thing about a Glock 30 is the plethora of aftermarket accessories available for the weapon. Holsters by Clinger, CrossBreed, and Fobus are easy to find and lights, lasers, and night sights are ubiquitous.

A Glock 30 can be purchased brand new for roughly $580-590.
