Aunt Polly makes a shocking move in the new episode of Peaky Blinders by fraternising with the enemy.

With poor John Shelby dead and her son Michael recuperating in hospital after being shot, Aunt Polly is distrustful of Tommy Shelby at the moment, and is only helping him through this vendetta so she can escape to Australia with Michael.

But it looks like she’s willing to go to any lengths to protect her family as these pictures show her meeting up with Luca Changretta in episode 3.

From his tense scene with Tommy Shelby last week, we know Luca means business and won’t stop until all of the Shelbys are sleeping with the fishes, so you think that would be enough to make Polly steer clear.

However the pair can be seen having a drink together and looking pensive, with Polly all dressed up while Luca looks suitably reptilian.

While we can’t reveal what it is they talk about, we can say that the stakes are going to raised even higher. Blinding!

Peaky Blinders airs tonight at 9pm on BBC 2.
