You may remember last year when we rejoiced over the existence of a Jeremy Corbyn Christmas jumper.

What better way to start an argument about politics over Christmas dinner than shoving the jolly face of Jeremy Corbyn into your Brexit-voting Granddad?

Hark, there’s some good news: The Jezza jumper is back for another year, so we can all be Christmassy Corbynites this festive season. It’s the perfect option for Christmas Jumper Day, right?

The jumper is the creation of a bunch of Corbyn fans from NotJust, and shows Jeremy wearing a Santa hat and telling everyone to have a ‘Jerry Christmas’. Lovely.

It costs £35, and 50% of the profits will be donated to Save the Children. They’re designed and produced in the UK, and are a cotton and acrylic blend.

The initial release of 250 Jezza jumpers sold out in 24 hours, but NotJust have printed a thousand more.

Jack Francis, one of the creators of the jumper, said: ‘First and foremost, we’re supporters of Jeremy Corbyn.

‘We’re all between 21 and 25, and we care about our generation’s prospects as well as the overall future of the country.

‘Education, housing, healthcare – you name it, he’s across it with policies that can really make tangible changes to the lives of millions.

‘Alongside this, he’s engaging with young people in a way that politicians have failed to do for years.

‘And if you stick him in a Santa hat, the resemblance really is uncanny.’

True. And nothing says Christmas like decent healthcare and presents for the many, not the few.

If you’re not a Jeremy fan, though, never fear. This year, the brand is also selling a Donald Trump themed jumper, with Donald slightly tweaked to look like the Grinch as he promises to ‘make Christmas great again’.

That’s £35 too, and it’s just as likely to start arguments over the dinner table, so take your pick.
