Craig David confused fans with his slowed-down performance on Strictly Come Dancing‘s results show on Sunday night (10 December) because really, shouldn’t he be chilling on a Sunday?
The singer, whose songs are usually upbeat and EDM-influenced, performed his new, slower song I Know You with Dan Smith from the British indie band Bastille.
The song included an emotional slow dance from pro dancers – and husband and wife duo – Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec.
But fans weren’t really feeling comfortable with the performance to be honest, after many pointing out that, as per Craig’s seminal hit 7 Days, he normally has other important plans for a Sunday.
Well Craig David fans, don’t panic – the results show is filmed after the main show on a Saturday night, and so isn’t actually live on Sundays.
This does, however, raise another worrying point: If Craig was filming Strictly on Saturday, it means he’s obviously missed out on one of his crucial love-making days.
But someone who was having a worse night than Craig David’s concerned fans were Mollie King and AJ Pritchard, who were voted out of the series one week before the finals.
The Strictly Come Dancing final airs 6.30pm on Saturday night on BBC One.
