Two pensioners who went on a road trip across America to take $336,000 (£252,000) of weed as Christmas presents for friends and family have been busted by police.
Patrick Jiron, 80, and his wife Barbara, 70, drove from California to Vermont with the 27kg stash of weed in their car but were arrested in Nebraska after being pulled over for traffic violations.

Officers quickly realised the elderly couple were carrying more weed than a mid-level drug dealer after the pungent smell from their car gave the game away.
Dundee, the York County drugs dog, was called in and he found 60 bags of weed in the car as well as concentrated THC.
Nebraska’s York News-Times reported Patrick Jiron was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and having no drug tax stamp.
He was released after posting 10% of his $100,000 (£75,000) bond and due to a medical reason Barbara Jiron was cited but not jailed.
The hapless couple were travelling from California to Vermont, both which are among the states to have legalised weed, but it is still outlawed in Nebraska.
York County Sheriff’s Lt. Paul Vrbka said: ‘They didn’t know it was illegal to transport marijuana in Nebraska.’
