Lachlan White has another murder mind in Emmerdale as the soap has hinted at further death. Believing that con man Terry is the one behind the texts being sent to him, Lachlan is preparing to kill again but will Terry be the next one to die or can he escape the fate that unhinged Lachlan has in mind for him?
With Lachlan continuing to receive texts which are threatening to expose his crimes, he has recalled that Terry knows the truth about the crash due to what he read in Gerry Roberts scrapbook.
Convinced that Terry is the one sending them to blackmail him, Lachlan decided that it was time to take action and he set out in search of the criminal. After Doug Potts informed him that the fraudster targeted funerals regularly to trick the grieving mourners, Lachlan headed out to stake it out.

Tomorrow, a showdown will ensue as Lachlan watches Terry from afar. And when he breaks away from the funeral procession, Lachlan approaches him and his intentions are clear – he is going to kill him!
Whether or not Lachlan carries out the deed remains to be seen but he is wrong to accuse Terry if indeed he does kill him – as the texts continue next week. This time the blame falls to the door of Liv Flaherty and he takes even more drastic action by causing a gas leak in the Mill.
As the cottage fills silently with fumes, Liv and Robert Sugden are left fighting for their lives – and when Rebecca then sees Lachlan leaving them to die, she becomes his potential fourth victim in the space of a week when he clobbers her with a spanner and bundles her into the boot of his car.
As one man killing machine Lachlan wages war on the community of Emmerdale, how many more lives will he claim before he is finally caught and exposed for the monster he is?
