Hina Khan has been labeled as the style icon in the television industry and Komilas look has already made headlines.
Hina Khan is back on television, playing the iconic character of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. After ruling television as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the actor will be seen as the stylish vamp. In an exclusive interaction with indianexpress.com, the actor opened up about the show, her looks and her next project.
Talking about making a comeback with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Hina shared, “My excitement is at its peak. I have been treated so well on sets. And the warm welcome that I received is just amazing. The promo has been loved so much and now I am really excited to be back on the screens.”
When asked if she took up Komolika to break her bahu image, the Khatron Ke Khiladi star said, “I did that already (laughs). But as an actor, it was a great opportunity to prove my versatility. I should be able to do any character. Thats the fun part of the challenge. I must say I have really worked hard and have broken quite a few stereotypes. And I can promise that the next character that I play will be a positive one.”

Hina Khan had recently spoken about signing a new show. Confirming the same, she told us, “Well, I did speak about it. Yes, I am doing another Ekta Kapoor show, where I will be playing the positive lead. But at the moment, I cannot share anything more on the same.”
Hina has been labeled as the style icon in the television industry and Komilas look has already made headlines. The Bigg Boss 11 star shared that she has been personally putting in a lot of effort for her role. She said, “Komolika is all about nakhras and adaa. We wanted it to be completely different from the previous one. She is a hell of a girl. She dresses differently, has her own charm. I am sure her look will soon become a style statement, especially her nose rings. She will have a lot of shades, and you will get to know her better once we start rolling. Theres so much about her. Komolika is a very unpredictable girl and you will be waiting to know what would be her next moves.”
With Komolika creating a havoc in Anurag and Prernas life, we asked the actor about her bond with her fellow co-stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes. She said, “I havent shot much with them yet. But they are really nice people and I got good vibes from them. Hope we all can work together and take the show to newer heights.”
Ekta Kapoor had created lot of curiosity around Komolika, and Hina shared that she enjoyed playing along. “I loved it completely. But sometimes I would message Ekta and ask her, Aap kya kar rahe hai? Kyu kar rahe ho? (What are you doing and why?) My fans are crying. But she told me to wait as when it will eventually happen, they would love it. And I am so glad it turned out really well. The wait has been worthwhile. And I want to tell my fans that they have waited enough and now from tonight, they will have me back in their lives,” she concluded with a smile.
