Well be ok: Jeffrey Dean Morgan offers hope to fans of The Walking Dead after Andrew Lincoln exit

Andrew Lincolns exit from The Walking Dead is the impending doom we know is coming and were absolutely not ready for.

But we will all survive this, even if Rick Grimes doesnt, and so will The Walking Dead, according to Negan star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who has assured fans of the zombie epic that weve got plenty to look forward to post season nine episode six, What Comes After.

[I feel] the same way you all feel, probably, Morgan wrote to a fan on Twitter, after being asked how he felt ahead of Ricks final episode this weekend. But? Without giving anything away…. we all gonna be ok as fans of show. This season is GOOOOOD.

And, despite sinking ratings, fans of The Walking Dead are in agreement that season is as goooood as Morgans boasting, since Angela Kang took over as showrunner.

While Ricks exit is just around the corner, last weeks brutal cliffhanger had us all on the edge of our seats – arguably for the first time in a very long time – with the sheriff impaled on a concrete slab as walkers swarmed around him.

While it was assumed someone would have to save him from the predicament (being unconscious and all that), spoiler pictures reveal Rick manages to overcome the situation himself – pictured on horseback holding his wound.

Hes also seen outside a shack of sorts, possibly somewhere to reflect and have a handy flashback to Shane, Hershel and Sasha?

Interestingly, though, this doesnt look to be the entirety of the episode – with pictures of Anne clutching a walkie talkie and a moody Michonne also in the line-up.

A picture of Ricks hand lying on the ground with his pistol is perhaps the most troubling – could this be the parting shot for The Walking Deads pivotal character?

All will be revealed when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on Sunday and follows a day later on Fox UK.
