Kim and Kourtney Kardashian go Christmas tree shopping in October – a whole nine weeks before Christmas :-: Metro

It’s pretty standard to get excited about Christmas tree shopping when December hits – unless you’re a Kardashian, of course.

The countdown to the Kardashian Christmas has clearly already begun as sisters Kim, 36, and Kourtney, 38, have been spotted out shopping for the perfect spruce.

A whole nine weeks before Christmas arrives – and before Halloween has even been – the girls were seen assessing the best firs on offer in Westlake Village, California, on Tuesday.

While an expedition to the local garden centre for us muggles would see us wrapping up with scarves and hats as we battle the chilly weather to find our tree, the girls did their festive hunting in the boiling hot sunshine.

Kourtney dressed up for the occasion in a mini wraparound skirt and a skimpy top, while Kim wore skin-tight trousers and a cropped Calabasas T-shirt.

Given that they are Kardashians, they did, naturally, have cameras following their every move as they strolled arm-in-arm around the outdoor store.

Why the girls’ search for the biggest tree is happening in October is undoubtedly because they are filming Christmas episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians early.

Their shopping trip comes days after they were spotted enjoying a festive ice-skating party, which was thrown by their other sister Khloe, and came complete with a Santa Claus on ice.

They even posted for a festive family photo.

Again, the ice-skating party was filmed and is sure to feature on the December episodes of their E! TV show.

Kim and Kourtney were spotted making the most of their picturesque location to pose for some solo shots too, as you do when you go Christmas shopping, right?
