It seems like the moment a Hollywood figure is accused of sexual misconduct, a Family Guy reference to their alleged behaviour is found.

And Brett Ratner’s case is no different.

Following the allegations from six women of sexual harassment against Ratner, Redditors have recalled an episode of Family Guy which suggests seedy behaviour on the producer’s part.

In an episode that aired in May 2012, Leggo My Meg-o – a parody of the Taken films – Brian dresses in disguise to infiltrate a sex slave auction.

A distraught women is auctioned off for $200,000, before Stewie, dressed as a girl, gets up on stage to dance to Katy Perry’s California Gurls.

The auctioneer starts announcing the bids, saying: ‘I have £75,000, thank you Brett Ratner.’

The creepy reference is a bit weird, considering Ratner – a producer of films including Rush Hour, X-Men: The Last Stand and Horrible Bosses – is an industry figure, rather than a household name.

A Redditor commented on a thread on the video: ‘A special prosecutor should be assigned to go through all Family Guy episodes and investigate anyone who got slammed by the show for despicable behavior.’

Ratner has parted ways with Warner Bros after six actresses including Olivia Munn told the LA Times that he had allegedly harassed them.

This comes after multiple references to alleged harassers in Hollywood from Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane.

At the 2013 Oscar nominations event, while announcing the nominees for Best Actress, McFarlane said: ‘Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.’

Weinstein has been accused of the sexual harassment of dozens of women, while he has been accused of rape by ten women. The 65-year-old denies all allegations of non-consensual sex.

A Kevin Spacey reference in a Family Guy episode from 12 years ago was also uncovered after the allegations of sexual misconduct made by Anthony Rapp against the House Of Cards actor.

In a scene from the season four episode, Stewie runs in a mall yelling: ‘Help! I’ve escaped from Kevin Spacey’s basement! Help me!’

Spacey has since been accused of sexual harassment by five men including Rapp.
