Leon Mallett voted off The X Factor after third live show

Leon Mallett has become the third act to leave The X Factor in the 2017 edition of the show.

Simon’s groups faced off against Louis’s boys in the third live show, with Louis’ wildcard Leon Mallett becoming the third act to be voted off the show following his performance of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky.

Speaking on the show, Leon said: ‘The whole thing has been a highlight. I just feel humble and blessed to share the stage with the rest of the guys.

Rak-Su were the night’s winners, who are now going through for a chance to win this weekend’s prize of getting to record a song with a producer.

Speaking about the prize, Simon said: ‘There’s a really good chance you’ll come out with a hit record.’

The group previously won their show last weekend, but lost out on the chance to meet P!nk in New York to Gracie in last Sunday’s live show.

The eviction follows wild card Talia Dean, who was kicked off last week following a performance of One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful.
