With just over a week to go until I’m A Celebrity 2017 kicks off, it’s emerged that one of this year’s rumoured contestants has had a bit of a last-minute wobble about appearing on the show.

Rebekah Vardy – wife of footballer Jamie Vardy – is among those tipped to jet out to Australia to take up a place in camp when the show returns to screens on November 19 – but according to reports she almost changed her mind, amid fears about being away from her four children for so long.

The 35-year-old is mum to 11-year-old Megan and six-year-old Taylor as well as her two children with Jamie – Sofia, three, and Finlay, ten months – with a source telling Mail Online she has been panicking about leaving them and heading to the southern hemisphere.

All of which means that while she will still take part on the show, she’ll be the last to arrive in Australia – and has made arrangements for her family to fly out also so they can be reunited as soon as her time on the show is over.

‘She was about to pull out because she can’t bear the thought of being away from them for so long, however she has now arranged to fly them out too so that they are with her the minute she leaves the camp,’ the source said.

‘Rebekah is going to be the last celeb to land in Australia because this has been such a last minute decision and she doesn’t want to be separated from her family any longer than necessary.’
