Her marriage to Prince Harry isn’t the only wedding on Meghan Markle‘s mind right now.

The 36-year-old actress’ character Rachel Zane is also getting married on Suits, the American legal drama which Meghan has starred in since 2011.

Rachel Zane is set to marry her beau Mike Ross on the show, played by the actor Patrick J Adams.

Rachel Zane and Mike Ross were initially set to marry at the end of season five, but the wedding was postponed and has been reportedly rescheduled for season seven, which Meghan has just finished filming.

Meghan wore a classic white wedding dress in the shelved scenes from season five.

Although images have yet to drop from the season seven shoot, where it is believed the pair finally marry, it is reported that wedding scenes were shot recently at Toronto’s King Edward hotel.

The show’s creator Aaron Korsh confirmed recently to Deadline that fans would see Rachel and Mike Marry.

He dished: ‘I’m going to go ahead and say “Yes,” how’s that?’

Although details about the scene haven’t yet been revealed, Meghan is said to have worn the same Anne Barge gown she wore during the scenes in season 5.

The initial wedding scenes were due to close out season 5, however Meghan objected on creative grounds.

She told Digital Spy: ‘I’m a really chatty gal and if something concerns me, I voice it.’

‘So yes, when I originally saw the script and it had them getting married, I just thought it was terrible – it didn’t add up for me!’.

Having discussed the plot closely with Aaron Korsh, the team decided to shelve the wedding scenes.

‘We’re so lucky with Aaron, because a lot of creators would say, “Just get out there and say your lines!”, but I think he respects that I’m not doing it for selfish reasons, it’s really just me seeing it through a different lens than he can,’ Megan said at the time.

Meghan and Prince Harry announced their real-life engagement on November 27, and the ceremony will take place in spring 2018.

It is believed the ceremony may take place before Kate, who will be heavily pregnant by spring, gives birth to her and William’s third child.

The news of the engagement follows the news that Meghan has moved into Kensington Palace with Harry, and has been appointed her own taxpayer-funded personal bodyguard.
