The League Of Gentlemen’s Christmas specials are upon us, with the BBC confirming the air dates for the three epsiodes.
The XX is returning to the small-screen for a three-part special and the BBC has now confirmed they will air back to back in the middle of December.
Clear your diaries and tune in to BBC Two on Monday 18, Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 December at 10pm each night to take a trip back to Royston Vasey.
The specials will mark 20 years of The League Of Gentlemen, and it seems beloved characters Edward and Tubbs could be chased out of town.
A new picture emerged from the upcoming specials last week, and it seems the tables have flipped on Edward and Tubbs.
The ‘local’ pair, played by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, can be seen fleeing a gaggle of protesters with ‘We are local people’ banners.
Could this allude to the new Brexit flavour co-creator Mark Gatiss previously teased?
The original series ended in 2002 and was followed by film, League Of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse, and a stage production titled The League Of Gentlemen Are Behind You!

The Walking Dead’s David Morrissey is also set to join the team for the specials, which sees the return of characters Reverend Bernice Woodall and world’s worst vet Mr Chinnery.
