Shappi Khorsandi has become the first campmate to be voted off this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
With both Amir Khan, Iain Lee and Dennis Wise being granted immunity from the vote, the rest of the campmates were put up for eviction.
In an episode which saw the camp reunited with strawberries and Amir’s girly screams back on peak form, Shappi became the first to leave the show.
Speaking on the show about being evicted, Shappi said: ‘I’m so relieved. I missed my children like crazy.’
After being shown the infamous #strawberrygate incident and told it was Amir’s idea to eat the treat, Shappi didn’t seem surprised, saying: ‘Amir is everyone’s cheeky little brother and he gets away with absolute murder.
‘Iain is a grown up and every grown up has choices.’
Shappi also touted Rebekah Vardy as her personal favourite to win.
The first official eviction follows Jack Maynard’s departure from the show, who left following a number of allegations against him in the outside world.

The rest of the episode saw Becky Vardy and Jamie Lomas tackle the Grot Holing task, where Ant and Dec were left in frustration over key hints.
