Strictly Come Dancing has released the first look pictures from its forthcoming Christmas special, featuring some old favourites from the show’s history.
The Strictly Christmas special sees former contestants return to the ballroom for another shot at glory – wearing their most impressive festive garb in the process.
Kimberley Walsh, Jeremy Vine and Judy Murray are tipped to appear on the yuletide special alongside Katie Derham, Colin Jackson and Robbie Savage.
In the first images, Girls Aloud star Kimberley appears as reindeer, while 2013 contestant and political correspondent Jeremy Vine is pictured sitting atop a Christmas tree.
Meanwhile, Judy – mother to tennis star Andy Murray – appears alongside her dance partner, Neil Jones, in a doll costume for a toy-themed routine.
The six couples will each perform a routine which tells the story of what everyone loves about Christmas in a bid to be crowned the festive champions 2017.

Viewers will also be treated to a touch of royalty during the episode, with a festive feature from inside Buckingham Palace billed as the Duchess of Cornwall hosts a tea dance, attended by Strictly stars and members of the community alike.
The Strictly Christmas special will be hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman – with Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas dishing out the critiques.
Hopefully, they won’t be too harsh with their words – it is Christmas after all, guys.
The Strictly Christmas special will air on Christmas Day on BBC One.
