If there’s anything you can expect from Ferne McCann’s new reality show, it’s that she’ll be open and honest about her pregnancy.
In a preview clip ahead of tonight’s one-off special Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, the former TOWIE star wets herself during a birthing plan meeting.
The new mum, 27, attends a session with her coach Tamara alongside mum Gilly, and begins by explaining that she’s feeling good: ‘I feel like I’ve got all my energy back,’ she says.
But not before long, Ferne – who will be raising daughter Sunday alone after ex Arthur Collins was jailed for an acid attack – suddenly sneezes, and has a little accident.
She says: ‘Oh my God, I’ve just weed! I sneezed and I did have a bit of a dribble in my knickers. My pelvic floor muscles aren’t up to scratch.’
Famous last words from birthing coach Tamara, who tells her: ‘(That’s) the joys of being pregnant!’
Asked whether she needs to go to the loo, Ferne replies: ‘No it’s not that bad. My knickers will soak it up. It’s only going to get worse.’
Also in the episode, Ferne reveals that she wants a ‘pain-free’, natural birth, although it didn’t end up that way.

She says on the show: ‘I want to be aware of the birth. I don’t want any screaming, shouting, swearing. I just want the most natural, pain-free birth that I possibly can have.’
After giving birth to daughter Sunday at the start of November, Ferne revealed that she had the ‘birth from hell’.
‘After I had given birth, my mum told me the staff thought I was haemorrhaging because I was losing so much blood,’ she told OK! Magazine.
The new mum decided to give birth on all fours, and due to a short umbilical cord Ferne had trouble taking hold of her baby in the moments after her birth. ‘It felt like it took forever for me to maoeuvre myself enough to see her, even though it was probably only a matter of seconds.’
Ferne McCann: First Time Mum airs tonight at 9pm on ITVBe.
