The launch of the second series of Stranger Things gave Netflix its biggest streaming day in the UK in 2017.
Stranger Things 2 was released on Sunday 29th October, which was the UK’s most popular day for Netflix viewing.
It just so happens that Netflix fans had an extra hour with daylight saving too, helping to squeeze in ‘just one more episode’ of their fave 80s-based show.

In fact, many Stranger Things fans raced through an entire season within 24 hours of the show’s launch.
A third series was recently confirmed by the streaming service, although the release date is still tbc at this stage.
