Wayne Rooney‘s party girl Laura Simpson is reportedly in talks with Celebrity Big Brother bosses to take part in the upcoming all-women series – but she’s holding out for a bigger pay cheque after turning down £55,000.

‘Laura has been in talks for a while with producers, but she’s holding out for bigger money,’ a source close to Simpson admitted.

‘She’s been offered £55k, but she’s demanding £75k. Laura has a really good job and a lot of work throughout January, so to sacrifice all of that, £55k wouldn’t be beneficial to her.’

Laura found fame when it was revealed that she was in a car with Rooney in the early hours of the morning, after they had spent the night partying together.

Rooney and his wife Coleen separated briefly after the events of that night, which led to Rooney being charged with drink driving, but it is thought that show bosses are keen to get Simpson on the show to reveal all.

‘She’s offered the producers a detailed step by step run through of everything that happened between her and Rooney in the house,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘It’s definitely going to be something that is brought up in conversation. The only thing she’s reluctant to talk about in depth is her phone conversation with Coleen, however, Laura likes to party so after a few drinks who knows what she might reveal.’

CBB will launch on 2 January at 9pm and to mark 100 years since women won the right to vote for the first time, the series will be launched with only women entering the house.

Emma Willis is returning at the CBB host that will follow the initial batch of singers to politicians before men are allowed to enter.
