Home And Away star Jessica Falkholt’s sister Annabelle, 21, has died following the car crash which also took the lives of their parents.
Jessica remains in critical condition after the devastating Boxing Day car crash; the crash claimed both their parents, Lars Falkholt, 69, and Vivian Falkholt, 60, who died at the scene near Sussex Inlet, three hours south of Sydney.
‘Annabelle passed away this morning, we knew what was happening so family were with her,’ a relative told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Her and Jessica had such a strong sister bond. They are seriously close sisters. I feel Jessica would have known her sister has passed.’
Annabelle’s boyfriend Jordan Brohier also paid tribute to the ‘love of my life’ on Facebook.
‘Today I lost the love of my life Annabelle. I’ve never met such a kind, gentle soul and this world is at such a loss without this beautiful angel,’ he wrote.
‘The 3 years I knew her were the best years of my life. I’m so thankful for every second I got to spend with my baby.’
He added: ‘From the day I met you I knew you were gonna be someone special in my life, an angel sent down to bless everyone around you. You were the best thing that has ever happened to me baby.
‘I promise that somewhere, we will be together again, I will find you and we will live a happy long life together. I love you now and always baby, My heart will always belong to you.’
It later emerged that hero motorists helped to pull Jessica and Annabelle from the wreckage of the car crash – minutes before the vehicle burst into flames; their parents identities were confirmed through their dental records as a result of the fireball which claimed their lives.

A spokesperson for Channel Seven, the Australian broadcaster of Home And Away, said the news was ‘especially tragic’ given the Christmas period.
‘Although her time on set was brief, once a part of the Home and Away family, always part of the family. Jessica’s outstanding talent and professional attitude left an impression on us all,’ they said.
