I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! came up trumps at Tuesday night’s National Television Awards, and Stanley Johnson was one of the proudest of the bunch.
The 77-year-old former MP – who appeared on I’m A Celeb in 2017 – was spotted taking a photo of the TV screen as the showreel appeared behind the stage.
Too cute, Stanley! It was like he was a proud father watching from the wings.
Stanley – father of politician Boris Johnson and journalist-turned-CBB star Rachel Johnson – had reason to be proud as I’m A Celeb won the Best Challenge Show award.
The show’s hosts Ant and Dec celebrated an incredible night indeed as not only did they win for I’m A Celeb but they won a further two awards.
For the 17th year in a row, Ant and Dec won the National Television Awards Best TV Presenter gong.
As they wiped away tears, the pair accepted the award making it, once again, even harder for anyone to beat their record-breaking streak.

‘It’s been a very emotional night tonight, quite a year, quite a tough 12 months, so winning this means a lot,’ said Ant, subtly referencing his decision to enter rehab and later end his 12-year marriage.
The pair also won the first ever Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
