Olly Murs is left frustrated in the upcoming episode of The Voice as his spinning chair red decides not to spin at the worst possible time.
Despite the singer repeatedly pressing his button so he could turn for the act he likes the sound of, he unfortunately goes nowhere and worries he might have missed out on bagging a singer for his team.
In the newly-released clip from ITV, Olly is seen shouting ‘I pressed it’ as his chair stays firmly the other way while his fellow judges Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am and Tom Jones smoothly turn round.
Will.i.am’s cackle suggests he is loving beating Olly to it, but his glee is short-lived as Olly’s chair does eventually turn within the time limit.
Who did he turn for? You’ll have to tune in on Saturday night to find out. Whoever they are, they must be pretty good to get the attention of all four judges…
Olly’s malfunction wasn’t down to sabotage from Will, but a fault in the mechanism which makes the chair do what it’s supposed to do.
A source said: ‘It was a fault with the motor mechanism in the chair. Olly did press his button within the time.’
The Voice continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
