Amber Rose is recovering from breast reduction surgery and if these glowing, smiling Instagrams are proof of anything, it’s that she’s incredibly happy with the results. Rose has been flirting with the idea of breast reduction for a while now, and on January 18th, 2018 she went under the knife. Rose took to Instagram Stories to update her followers on the process.

“I’m still in the house recovering from my breast reduction surgery, trying to relax and rest and recover,” Rose revealed in a series of Instagram stories.

“Look how much smaller they are,” she shared with followers. “I really went down a lot. I don’t know if you guys know, but I was a 36H. I was really really big. I think now I might just be a D-cup, which is really small for me. I’ve been online shopping, getting cute little shirts, little strapless little things.”

In a video with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, Rose said she’s most looking forward to wearing spaghetti strap shirts again.

Rose contemplated the idea of breast reduction surgery over the summer and wondered aloud on Instagram if she should go through with it.

“I’m thinking about getting a breast reduction this year,” she wrote on Instagram back in July 2017. “My boobs are stupid heavy, my back hurts and I can’t wear cute lil shirts without a grandma bra. I’m really scared of the lollipop scars tho…. any advice? Are there any ladies out there that are much happier even though you have breast reduction scars? And no I don’t have implants so they can’t just cut around the nipples. Tell me about ur experiences.”

Of course, her decision was met with cries from the peanut gallery internet lamenting her decision to reduce her breast size. There were even comments from other women wondering what was “wrong” with her boobs to begin with. Clearly these confused commenters have never experienced the pain that accompanies having size-H breasts.

We wish Rose a speedy recovery and are happy she feels at home in her body.
