Londoners have a lot of pride about where they come from.

Whether you’re a South East loyal or heartily rep North West, though, we all come together under the city banner.

Nike have released an advert that showcases the variety and fun on living in the capital, and there are some huge stars featured.

The ad was made to show the challenges and triumphs of playing sports in London, and has some impressive special effects.

As you can see, it starts off with Skepta debating on whether to get on a Boris bike through town, and travels through Kingsland Road, Peckham, and other locations across the city.

Morley’s chicken shop is even featured, plus the soundtrack includes Skepta’s Shutdown and Dizzee Rascal.

One of the breakout stars from last year – Big Shaq aka Michael Dapaah – is seen crying after being snubbed by footballer Alex Iwobi.

The idea behind the ads isn’t just to get Londoners puffing up their chests with respect for their home, but also to promote areas for young people to play sport.

Throughout half-term week, Nike will be sending 75 athletes for different venues in London to inspire kids and get more of them moving.

Jamie McCall from Nike said:

London is a sports obsessed city and its intersection with culture sparked by the next generation of youth, is shaping a new wave of creative expression and celebration of sports.

258 kids were recruited to be part of the advert, which was shot everywhere from Brixton to Dalston.

It’s a great mix of culture and sport, and showcases the diversity of Londoners and how they stay active.
