If you wake up to Good Morning Britain every day, you’ll notice that there’s no Piers Morgan on the show today.

Some may be upset, while others may rejoice, as his reps have confirmed to Metro.co.uk that he’s actually taking a two-week break from the show.

This is in order to continue working on his Serial Killer show.

In Piers’ place will be Richard Madeley and Jeremy Kyle on different days.

Susanna Reid will also be taking a short break from the GMB sofa, to spend time with her three kids during half-term.

While Susanna is away, she’ll be replaced by Kate Garraway.

Piers’ Serial Killer show was a hit when it last aired, featuring interviews with Mark Riebe, who’s believed to have killed 13 women.

The 52-year-old interviewed Riebe along with law enforcement officials, showing an insight into the psyche of a killer.

It’s not known whether he’ll be going across the pond again for the new episodes.

It’s been a controversial few weeks for Piers, with his interview with Donald Trump, and making it on to Kim Kardashian’s hate list.

Charlotte and the gang will at least have some peace from Piers until the 27th of February.
