Chloe Sims’ Take Me Out date ended in disaster after Joey Essex attempted to win her a man.
The Towie star took to the ITV programme in an attempt to find love, however despite falling for her fella, she left the show on her own even though her cousin Joey Essex tried his best to convince her man she was the one for him.
In a video aired to the thirty men, Joey explained what he called the ‘Sims family curse’.
He said: ‘Chloe has always been unlucky in love but she is not the only one. Her brother, sister, cousin, and me are jinxed too.’
The screen cut to a photo of them all with a red ‘Single’ labelled over their faces.
He continued: ‘We call it the Sims family curse. Listen peeps, leave your light on for Chloe and I can guarantee you you’ll have a reem time.’
With the support of her cousin, the 36-year-old managed to bag a date to Fernandos with Gavin.
When the couple arrived on the island, the lucky boy admitted to not knowing who the reality star was and revealed that he didn’t know what to expect.
The pair jetted off on a romantic camel ride, where Chloe asked her date a series of questions.
Everything looked to be going so well. They both like potatoes, Chloe didn’t kick him off the camel straight away, and she didn’t seem to be scared off by his star sign.
However, when she asked Gavin his age, she was shocked to find out that he was only 24-years-old.
Oh no!
She said: ‘He’s so nice so mature so it is a bit of a bummer because he’s so young. But I’m not going to dismiss the whole thing straight away.’
As the date continued the age gap definitely played on Chloe’s mind as she revealed she would definitely want to see Gavin again, but in a ‘friends situation.’
He asked her if he was ten years older would it be much different, to which Chloe confessed: ‘Definitely.’

She said: ‘I think he’s a real catch and will make an amazing boyfriend to somebody who is younger.’
Match maker Paddy McGuinness tried his best, but maybe he’ll have better luck next time.
