Great Mills High School was targeted by a gunman weeks after a chilling Snapchat threat was issued warning it was going to be shot up.
The alleged threat, shared on Facebook after Tuesday’s shooting that reportedly killed one and injured seven, read: ‘so there’s gon be a shooting at gmhs (Great Mills High School) “within the next few days and kids should stay home???? hmmmm’

The post, shared by news website thebaynet.com added: ‘On the evening of Feb 20, TheBayNet.com received messages from several concerned parents of Great Mills High School students regarding the threat of a school shooting circulating on Snapchat.
‘The Snapchat post warns students of a possible shooting planned to take place in the coming days.’
Great Mills was shot up around 8am Tuesday, as lessons began.
Sheriff’s placed the school, 60 miles south east of Washington DC on lockdown and have said the situation is ‘contained’ but have yet to confirm whether anyone has been injured or killed.
