It’s less than a month away from the season 4 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead and AMC has released a brand new trailer filled with new faces, rotting faces and a familiar face that will usher in the highly anticipated crossover event.

The new trailer, which debuted at WonderCon, puts a spotlight on the new faces of the ragtag group of walker killers. We are immediately introduced to Jenna Elfman’s character… sort of. We see her kill a walker, but not much else is said. The same goes for Garret Dillahunt. Much like yesterday’s panel at WonderCon, not much is unveiled in this new trailer. Sure, we see Morgan (James) and snippets from the season, but the trailer is nothing but bait for fans — bait that will be devoured completely.

In season 4, we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes — the eyes of Morgan Jones (James), who is joining the story from the world of The Walking Dead. The characters’ immediate pasts mix with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes, and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; and the heroic, mercenary and craven, all crashing together toward a new reality for Fear the Walking Dead.

The fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead premieres Sunday, April 15 at 10 PM ET/PT, featuring the long-awaited crossover event with The Walking Dead. Subsequent episodes of Fear the Walking Dead will air at 9 PM ET/PT beginning Sunday, April 22.

Produced by AMC Studios, Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero. This season stars Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia, along with new series regulars James, Dillahunt, Elfman, and Maggie Grace.
