James Cordens The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special received the diva treatment as Christina Aguilera joined the talk show host to sing some of her greatest hits. And while they were singing her seminal hit Dirrty, Melissa McCarthy popped up from the backseat just in time to spit the rhymes of Redmans portion of the song.
While on their song-filled ride (before McCarthys cameo), Aguilera and Corden gave the late night talk show host a lesson in diva growling. They also sang some of the Grammy-winning artists greatest hits including Fighter, Genie in a Bottle and the ballad Beautiful. They also talked about her class of The Mickey Mouse Club which included Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Keri Russell, and Ryan Gosling — who Aguilera thinks had a crush on Britney.
It wasnt too long before Corden busted out bedazzled microphones and it is here where Aguilera gave him and McCarthy a singing lesson — which turned out better than expected.
Aguilera and McCarthy appear in the comedy Life of the Party, which opens in theaters on May 11. Watch the video above for all the Carpool Karaoke goodness.
