If you think the first season of Netflixs Dear White People pushed the envelope when it came to skewering identity politics, then the second season, based on the new trailer, is going to wildly rip that envelope open and make you laugh uncomfortably as the students of Winchester University attempt to get woke or die trying.

In the trailer for season two, it seems that things are getting even more polarizing and divisive as the student population of the predominantly white (and fictional) Ivy League college stumbles while navigating through identity politics. At the center of it all is our radio host heroine Sam (Logan Browning), Winchesters unapologetic progressive voice. Her ideas continue to get challenged and pushed to the limit while her peers dive deep into their own struggles with sexual identity, social injustice, cultural labels, political correctness (or lack thereof) and activism in the millennial age — all of which makes us laugh and then ponder “Wait…am I racist?”

Browning is joined by Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson. Justin Simien is the creator and executive producer of the show, and Yvette Lee Bowser is the showrunner, with Stephanie Allain and Julia Lebedev executive producing.
