Another Eagles Player Says He Wont Visit The White House

It looks like the Philadelphia Eagles squad might be even leaner when they finally get a chance to visit the White House, if they ever get around to it.
Just this week, the Super Bowl LII champs confirmed that theyre in talks with the White House to plan an upcoming celebratory visit.

But a few members of the team have already said theyll forfeit their chance to visit the most powerful office in the world. Chris Long was one of the first to announce his boycott.
“No, Im not going to the White House,” Long told the hosts of “Pardon My Take” back in January. “Are you kidding me?”
Torrey Smith and Malcolm Jenkins have also voiced strong opposition to visiting the White House. And Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie reportedly once called Trumps presidency “disastrous.”
TMZ caught up with Eagles linebacker Dannell Ellerbe on Wednesday and asked him whether he planned on paying the White House a visit.
“Me personally, I wouldnt go,” Ellerbe said. “Ive already been before.”
He has been, with the Ravens after winning the Super Bowl in 2012 during Barack Obamas presidency. Still, youd think one visit to the White House wouldnt be enough.
