Before the puck dropped at Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs series between the Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets, Lady Antebellum took the ice at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to sing the National Anthem. All was going well…until they hit a minor speed bump.

The Grammy Award-winning country trio of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood were smoothly singing through their flawless harmonies, but when it came to the words “Oer the ramparts we watched,” things started to get a little wonky — as seen in the video above.

The forgiving crowd started to help them out with the words and the three recovered nicely, continuing to give their Lady Antebellum brand of musicality. They later took to Twitter for an apologetic moment of humility, saying “Welp. Were human too yall Were still rooting for ya Preds!!! #smashville”

Their lighthearted National Anthem snafu comes at a time when the song has been at the center of controversy in the past year with Colin Kaepernick and the kneeling protests during NFL games and other sporting events.
