Its rare that anyone in EastEnders is open about their feelings and that can lead to all sorts of misunderstandings. Take Jean Slater – who has spent months evading talking about her husband Ollie. Her actions backfire when Ollie rocks up and finds himself wrongly accused of violent abuse.
Then theres Bernie Taylor whose friendship with Tiff Butcher is starting to falter as she is confused about how she truly feels about her. When Tiff decides to confront the issue, it could go either way but Bernie then makes an admission.
One person who isnt shy about what he wants and how he feels is Ian Beale – who strangely seems more determined that ever that he is going to marry Mel Owen. Okay, hon.

Monday 25th June
Stacey suggests to Martin that they make things official by moving back in together and Sonia is disappointed by the news. Later, Bex finds out from Mo and Hayley that Martin and Stacey are back together and she shares some harsh words with her dad.

Ian and Masood have very different business ideas so Ian gives Masood the smallest mention on the flyers while Masood holds back the investors cheque. Noticing school children handing around, Carmel has the idea of setting up a youth group.
With things having gone wrong with the predator hunt, Mick tries to assure Halfway that hes not to blame.
Tuesday 26th June
Kat arrives back and insists on selling the cab so Jean can afford to go back to Brighton but when Jean gets the deciding vote and is unsure, Kat does some digging. Ian sets up a deal with Mel for the soft launch of the restaurant.
Carmel excitedly pours her enthusiasm into her youth club idea and Bex, Keegan and Louise cant face telling her that Shakil would have hated the prospect of it. Meanwhile. Tiff offers to practise chess with Bernie.
Thursday 28th June
Tiffany pretends to be enjoying playing chess with Bernadette but soon brings up recent tensions, telling her friend that she knows she has been distant with her because she fancies her. A humiliated Bernadette tells her to get out.
Kat tells Mo that Ollie has been hitting Jean but when he turns up unannounced, he is shocked to be on the receiving end of the allegations. Ian uses Hunter to get closer to Mel and insists to Kathy that he will marry her.
Friday 29th June
As Ollie tries to defend himself against the Slaters, who are laying into him and refusing to hear his side of the story, Jean is stunned that her relatives have got the wrong end of the stick but will she be forced to come clean?
Bernie opens up to Tiff, telling her that she is confused about her feelings and the pair talk things through while Ian and Masood are disappointed by the lukewarm reaction to the business launch. However, Ian reckons he has a chance with Mel after a heart to heart and remains as determined as ever to win her from Jack.
