Coronation Street spoilers: Sarah Platt gets another shock after nearly killing Ryan Connor

Sarah Platt is about to find herself in one heck of a mess in Coronation Street when she attacks Ryan Connor – and almost kills him! The altercation comes when she sees a distressed bethany racing from his flat after their date and assumes the worst, storming over to confront him.

As Ryan tells Sarah that her daughter is a tease, it infuriates her and she angrily lashes out at him before leaving. But as she exits the flat, she doesnt realise that she has caused Ryan to fall and strike his head.

The collision leaves him lifeless and when Michelle and Robert find him unconscious, they call an ambulance leaving Sarah horrified by what she has done.

Tina OBrien, who plays Sarah, explained to us: The first she knows is when they see Ryan being brought out of Victoria court on a stretcher, Craig assumes Bethany must have hit him but she insists she didnt. Sarah cant understand how her slapping him could have resulted in those injuries so she is confused.

She is surprised when she gets to the hospital and he shows no sign of remembering what happened. She cant pretend nothing happened so she tells him what she did and apologises.

However, Sarah is about to be knocked for six by another shocking turn of events when Ryans response to her confession that she caused his accident is not at all what she was banking on.

Tina revealed: His reaction shocks her and is not what she expected at all, it is a real game changer for Sarah. She has a big decision to make…
