Hayley Slater is desperately trying to turn her life around so that she can start to build a future for herself and her unborn baby in EastEnders – but she is not just holding back the fact she is pregnant from her family. No, she is also hiding the whopping revelation that the father is Kat Moons estranged husband Alfie!
Viewers were dumbfounded when Alfie suddenly reappeared and Hayley went to visit him to tell him that she was carrying his child. Hayley had been hopeful that they could make a go of things but Alfie still only has eyes for reuniting with Kat.
Hayley continues to try and conceal her ever growing bump and she has been illegally operating as a cabbie in order to try and get money so she can be a good mum and provide for her child when it is born.

Jean has discovered her activity and snatched the keys and when Hayley fails to get them back, she asks for Keanu Taylors help in retrieving them. Keanu and Hayley are caught trying to break in by the Slaters, forcing Jean to reveal what Hayley was up to.
As Kat interrogates Hayley, Mo Harris steps in and gives her a cover story so that she can continue to use the cab – but naturally, youd expect Mo wont be doing this just out of the goodness of her heart!
Hayley takes the cab out again to earn cash and then she picks up a drunk punter. She unburdens herself to her fare and reveals to him about how she is lonely while being pregnant in secret. She doesnt charge him but he turns out to be a police officer, who takes a picture of the licence plate and then turns up the next day to confront her.
As the police officer speaks to Hayley, she implies to him about having someone else to think about but Jean, Mo and Kat are listening in. Will they finally discover that she is pregnant?
And as Hayley vows to get her taxi license for real, will she be put off to learn from Keanu that it takes years?
