James Corden got the offer of a lifetime from Tom Cruise – to go skydiving together.
James jokingly made light of Toms stunts in Mission Impossible – Fallout, which included a high-octane halo drop where Tom fell from 25,000 feet and opened his parachute close to the ground.
But the A-list actor wanted James to put his money where his mouth is and invited him to have a go at the drop.
Speaking on The Late Late Show about why he likes risking his life doing stunts, Cruise said: I want to entertain an audience, we come up with great stories and were able to put a camera in places that you normally cant so its not just stunts. Its storytelling and character.
I cant help it. Im 100 per cent when I do something and I just want to give the audience the very best so thats what I try to do.

James quipped: ”Its falling through the sky. I think were all getting carried away.
Tom replied: Its a little more than that. It took 106 jumps to get but if youre interested Im happy to take you if you wanna try it?
James tried to clarify Toms words, and asked: What are you saying?
If its so easy you can come with me. Would you like to do it? Tom asked.
The host looked a bit nervous as he laughed and said: Sure. Yeah Ill do it. Ill do it. Im serious.
The pair even shook hands on it, so theres no backing out for James now. Looking forward to see the footage of how they got on.
James and Tom also spoke about how they have been skydiving with their mothers.

Tom took his late mum skydiving as a surprise and sent the video to his sisters.
The actor said: They opened it and put it on and saw what we were doing and just s**t themselves. They were like, ”What are you doing to our mother!”
