Actor Rhona Mitra has been cast to play Mercy Graves in Supergirl season 4.

The 41-year-old will be playing Lex Luthors former bodyguard, and unlike comic book canon, Supergirl have given her a brother called Otis Graves, who will be played by Robert Baker.

Graves, who is based on the DC character of the same name is a former CADMUS agent.

The infamous Project Cadmus, one of the main antagonists in the shows season 2, was headed by Luthors mother, who secretly experimented on aliens before Supergirl put a stop to it.

Now, with Lex and his mother in jail, Graves will be pushing for the growing militant human first movement.

The Arrow-verse has become one of DCs success stories translating their comics to live-action, with fans flocking to their Arrow-verse during a time when Christopher Nolan was the only shining beacon for the franchise on the big screen.

With the Worlds Of DC now picking up steam, and Warner Bros pushing to rival the MCU it will no doubt be interesting to see if the Arrow-verse and its characters will get a chance to hit the big screen.
