Ever since taking part in a medical trial, Chloe has been receiving letters from the clinic for her to get back in touch.
She goes to Karl and asks for his help, although shes too frightened to face whatever might be going on – she fears the worst and has been burying her head in the sand for weeks.
But after a day out on a boat with her brothers where they all bond and confess theyre all glad to be back in each others lives, she feels determined to face whatever it is face on.
She returns to Karl to find out whats going on, and learns the devastating truth – shes tested positive for the Huntingtons gene – a degenerative brain disorder that has no cure.

Chloe is horrified, and with it being so close to Aarons wedding she doesnt feel she can tell anyone.
Karl reassures her and urges her to tell her brothers but she refuses, saying all in good time. In the mean time, she turns to the bottle.
What will this diagnosis mean for the Brennans?
