Emmerdale viewers have been left broken after heartbreaking scenes forced the reality of Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirks tragic situation to hit home. The couple are currently dealing with the prospect of losing their unborn baby as soon as she has been born as they have been told that she wont survive out of the womb.

It has been a horrendous rollercoaster of emotions for the pair, who were almost torn apart by grief and angst in the wake of the revelation, but they are trying their best to hold everything together and have even selected Marlon Dingle and Liv Flaherty as godparents in a moving decision.

However, one scene in particular really got to viewers as Chas and Paddy were left in a panic when the babys heartbeat couldnt be found during the scan. While the beat was eventually located, it was an agonising wait and it gave an insight for them into the further pain that awaits them after the birth.
