Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Judge Brett Kavanaugh when they were in high school, began answering questions before the Senate Judiciary Committee at 10 a.m. Thursday morning. Kavanaugh is expected to sit before the committee next, beginning sometime this afternoon.
Several senators have echoed sentiments in support of Dr. Ford. Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn told reporters, “I found no reason to find her not credible.”
California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris iterated her belief of Fords accusations and called her “brave.”
