CNN chief Washington correspondent Jake Tapper said the American public has heard enough from men and pointed out that he frequently hosts all-female panels, on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Monday.

“On State of the Union this past Sunday, it was Jake Tapper and an all-female panel of guests, including Kellyanne Conway and Amy Klobuchar,” host Stephen Colbert said.

He asked if claims surrounding Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh will change how reporters cover stories about sexual assault, as well as the role of women in Washington politics and the importance of their voices.

“Well, I hope so … Ive had all-women panels lots of times, but it is true that this Sunday I felt that wed heard from men enough,” Tapper said. (RELATED: Stephen Colbert No Longer Torn About #MeToo Movement, Rips Les Moonves After Calling Him My Guy)

After Tapper finished discussing all-female panels, Colbert began plugging his guests book “The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor” about a real-life battle in Afghanistan in 2009.

Tapper claimed it was being made into a movie, and Colbert suggested Tapper be played by actor Orlando Bloom.

“You think I would cast Orlando Bloom as me?” Tapper asked.

“We cast Orlando Bloom as you,” Colbert replied, before pulling out a photo of Tappers face on Blooms body.

“We also cast Orlando Bloom as you when he was naked on the paddle board with Katy Perry, but thats the one that CBS says I cant show on air. Ill give it to you privately backstage.”

“Thank god for CBS,” Tapper concluded.
