A wedding day should be the happiest day of a persons life but thats a rare occurrence in Emmerdale. Debbie Dingle might be excited when Joe Tate springs a surprise ceremony on her but as she gets into her wedding dress, the day is about to end badly. And its all thanks to the dramatic return of Kim Tate.

Joe tells Debbie that they are getting married that day in the hospital chapel to seal their love and their family unit with Sarah Sugden. But as Debbie excitedly gets prepared, there are a number of people who are against it going ahead including Joes right hand man Graham Foster and Debbies disapproving dad Cain.

Graham heads to meet Kim as she is released from prison, having presumably been caught for her crimes and served her sentence after going on the run in 1999. But she wants Joe gone.

And Debbie starts to fear the worst when Joe is a no show at the wedding he himself sprung on her – so where is he and should Debbie be worried? Considering the special week of Emmerdale episodes contain police interviews over a terrible crime committed at the Home Farm masquerade ball which sees Kim potentially pushed to her death, we reckon she has a right to be.

Having discovered both Joes plans for the wedding and his intentions for Home Farm, Graham decides that its time he went and grabs a bag filled with £100k to hand to Joe. He tells him to get gone and fast as he is expecting the arrival of Kim.

But will Joe really walk out on his empire and his bride or will he fight back? And could he be the one who shoves Kim down the stairs at the end of the fateful party?

The police want answers but will both Kim and Joe survive the week?
