The Great British Bake Off 2018 has reached its quarter-final, with just five bakers remaining in the tent.
And among those preparing to take on Danish Week is Briony Williams – whos baked her way this far with some particularly impressive creations, especially in Pastry Week.
She might be an awesome baker – but what else do we know about Briony?

How old is Briony Williams and what is her day job?
Briony is 33 and is from Bristol.
She is currently a full-time parent to her daughter Nora – although she also writes about her culinary creations at the blog Briony Bakes.

Briony is a self-taught baker and she has used YouTube tutorials and wisdom from her nan to perfect her techniques.

She has been baking since 2013 and her specialty of puff pastry is a weekly hit with her family.
She has also made plenty of wedding cakes and novelty cakes for her friends and family.
One thing in particular that she liked about the tent was that didnt have to do the washing up afterwards.
How has Briony fared on the show so far?
Despite struggling in Dessert Week and facing the possibility of elimination (only to be saved when there was no elimination due to Terrys absence), Briony went on to triumph in Pastry Week by being crowned Star Baker.
She even shared the reaction among the viewers watching in her local:
Briony has made it to the quarter-finals along with Ruby, Kim-Joy, Rahul and Manon.
