Hey, Jude. That wasnt exactly your finest moment was it? Jude Appleton has left Coronation Street in shame after snatching his son George and almost taking him away from his mum Angie but is he gone for good or is there a return in store?
Mary Taylor looked devastated by the turn of events which saw her son exposed as a liar, led to him hitting her and inevitably caused the breakdown of his marriage and his exit from the show. But this isnt quite the last we have seen as Jude as Paddy Wallace will reprise his role for some more scenes.
For now, Angie is just relieved that Roy Cropper managed to persuade Jude to hand George over but Mary, having only just reunited with her long lost son, is gutted that things have ended this way.

Victoria Ekanoye, who plays Angie, has warned to expect more trouble and deceit from Jude when he shows up again though. She told Metro.co.uk: It does get a bit darker. Theres always surprises with Jude. Without saying too much, I dont think the lies will ever really stop, thats the problem. Ultimately, it will come to a point where Angie says “Ive done everything I can”. The struggle is having Mary see that too – Jude is Marys beloved son so how will Mary react to the whole situation? Thats going to be quite interesting.

So what about Angie beyond Jude? Could she find love again? Victoria added: I think it would be great for her to focus on her and George. Its going to take a long time for her to get over all that has happened. Im not saying I want her to be single forever – obviously there has been chemistry between her and Adam.
A lot of people seem to like that idea of them as a couple. But ultimately she has to focus on whats best for her and her child. Further down the line, if something were to happen, thats probably a better time.
