Simon Cowell appears to have confirmed that the X Factor finale is closer than we had all anticipated.
Every year the show ends just one week before Christmas, allowing the winner to have a go at taking the number one spot in the Christmas charts.
However, it seems that there has been a change with the schedule this year, as while giving feedback to Dalton on tonights show, the music mogul revealed the final is just around the corner.
Chatting to the hopeful, Simon seemingly let slip the date of the finale, as he said: I have a feeling well be seeing you in three weeks for the final.
Fans were shook by the comment, and took to Twitter all confused.
Cant believe final is 3 weeks away. No wonder ratings are down. Its no longer the big show that takes over autumn and winter.

As there are ten contestants still in the competition, the show will have to have double eliminations each week to get down to the final four.
And while fans were pondering over why the show had been cut by almost a month, presenter Dermot OLeary was busy mocking Simon for milking The Greatest Showman.
The 45-year-old made a huge jibe at the father-of-one for allowing two of his girls to belt out tunes from the musical.

He reminded the head judge that hed criticised Misunderstoods song choice: Not everyone can come up here and do a Greatest Showman song.
But Simon wasnt having any of it though and snapped: Erm, they can.
