Robert Preston had high hopes for the future as he imagined himself married to Michelle Connor with a baby or two crawling about the place. But she has different ideas in Coronation Street as she is forced to re-iterate that she doesnt want to have children again.
Michelles hands are currently full with her troublesome sons Ryan and Ali Neeson who have dabbled with the likes of drugs and murder this year but Robert soon sits his other half down and asks again if she has thought about whether they can have a baby.
Ever since she lost her son Ruairi in a devastating late miscarriage, Michelle has been trying to rebuild her shattered world and, even though she is in a much better place now, the thought of having another baby couldnt be further from her mind.
She is forced to crush Roberts hopes by saying she doesnt want to have more children but down the line this could lead to more problems as it has already been revealed that Kate will call on him to be a potential sperm donor for herself and Rana.

Rana is another who isnt sold on having kids right now but Kate is desperate to become a mum and with this being Roberts only chance to have his own child, will he be prepared to go along with the plan?
And if so, how will Michelle feel?
Whether or not this could divide Michelle and Robert remains to be seen but there are difficult times ahead for Kate and Rana as Kate will then take even more drastic action and attempt to seduce Adam Barlow in her quest to have a baby.
Driven by her bottled up grief for Aidan, she makes a big mistake but our Corrie source did assure us that there would eventually be a light at the end of the tunnel for the pair as the wedding plans will be back on after a reunion.
