While no exact date has been confirmed, All Together Now said on Twitter it should be expected on BBC One around Christmas time.

The one-off special comes ahead of the second series of the singing competition which is expected to air in the new year.

What does the competition entail?

If you didnt manage to catch the first series, know youre in for a treat.

Aspiring singers – in the case of the Christmas special, the celebrities – take to the stage to sing their hearts out in front of a selection of music experts including the nations beloved Spice Girl.

Their performances are judged by the amount of people in the panel who join in with their act, where the more fans that are on their feet singing along equals a higher overall score.
