Emmerdale spoilers: Big new twists revealed after a character is left for dead

Daz Spencers life is on the skids in Emmerdale following his involvement in a hit and run accident that has left a resident for dead – and things are about to get so much worse.

After getting drunk and messing up a meeting with his new boss, Daz was left abandoned and forced to walk home. But he then found his abandoned car, which had been taken by joyriding teens including his daughter Amelia but led by scheming Leanna Cavanagh.

After Daz became distracted by Noah Tates ringing phone, he collided a known villager and fled the scene and in the wake of this terrible turn of events, he is riddled with guilt and is busy making plans to escape the village and go on the run before the police catch up with him.

He is trying to make a hasty retreat to the airport when he notices that Kerry Wyatt has collapsed. With a choice between running and saving Kerry, he eventually does the right thing, scuppering his escape plan in the process.

Daz attempts to escape again when he is sure Kerry is going to be okay but Amelia catches him trying to leave. Daz is forced to cover but remains on edge as Kerry promises Amelia that the police will catch the culprit who ran down the victim and she has nothing to worry about.

Will Daz slip out before its too late? And will the person hit survive?
