Joe Sugg and Strictly partner Dianne Buswell were left facing more awkward questioning over those romance rumours, with Zoe Ball this time delivering the quizzical blows.

The pair, who previously refused to deny they were dating on This Morning, appeared on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two ahead of Saturdays live final to discuss their next dance.

Host Zoe Ball, however, swerved conversation towards their closing dance poses from last weeks show, remarking how close they were to kissing.

You teased us twice on Saturday and it didnt go unnoticed, Zoe said. See exhibit A and exhibit B.

Pressing on whether we might see contact in the final, Zoe added: Will the showdance end in a kiss? Sorry, were such children.

Joe and Dianne erupted into laughter and soon dodged the question, with Joe commenting on the pictures from last weeks show instead.

This is very, very accurate choreography, Joe said. Stopping it within an inch every time.

Joe fulfilled his promise of dying his hair red on It Takes Two if he makes it through to the live final.

Asked about his new look, Joe said: Its alright. I cant say anything bad because Dianne wouldnt like that.

Joe also explained how he thought he might be leaving last week, after landing significant criticism from the judges.

I knew it was a tough week for all of us, Joe said. And especially after the scoring and comments, I thought it was my time to depart.

I didnt expect my name to be called out.

Joe and Dianne are set to perform the Quickstep to Arctic Monkeys I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor in the final, with the latter teasing itll be risky and fast.

Strictly It Takes Two airs weekdays on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
