Months after the ending of Big Brother, a stalwart of UK television, Emma Willis has admitted a little more notice it was being axed wouldnt have gone astray.
She learnt the news not long before the rest of us, the day of the premiere of the final season in September, alongside Bit On The Side host Rylan Clark-Neal.
And to the 42-year-old, the timing was disappointing. We can vibe those emotions.
I wanted to do a great launch where its enthusiastic and fun and exciting, and yet our shows just been canned, she said with the beauty of hindsight behind her.
So how am I meant not to feel sad, walking out and trying to host a show I love, knowing that its done? They couldve done it a week before so that we all had time to take it in, or a week after so it could bed in.

Adding it doesnt appear any other networks are going to pick up the Channel 5 show any time soon, she told Fabulous magazine: Through the series I went from being angry to really sad, and Rylan went from sad to really angry, so we swapped emotions.
A month on from the finale in November, which saw young Cameron take out the title of last housemate standing, mother-of-three Emma has revealed she has three months of nothing over summer, with no work currently lined up for the times shed usually be hosting BB and Celebrity Big Brother.
But it hasnt worried her. Yet.
But Im not going to panic, because if I do and summer comes and I still havent got anything, Ill be crying! As long as Ive got work somewhere and I can pay my bills.
When the news broke BB would be no more, Emma shared her hope it might be resurrected on another network.
So the news was a shock, if Im honest but I kind of still hold out hope that somebody out there, loves it as much as we all do still and will give it a home in the future because it has been on the TV for a bloody long time and you know, its part of our popular culture, Emma said in a video at the time.
So it would be sad. It would be sad to see its end at the age of eighteen. Itd be lovely to see it come back for its twentieth anniversary. Hello!

More: Celebrity Big Brother
Emma had fronted both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother since 2013 and during that time, two celebrity versions would air in a year, as well as its civilian counterpart.
Despite not having a replacement show to fall back on yet, Emma will be returning to host The Voice next year, alongside judges Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones and Olly Murs.
